The Different Epitopes of RH and RHD

There are variations in the antigen strength, obviously because of gene issues. If you're an RH positive, you have multiple epitopes D on your cell surface where if you're JKA or B, that's a single epitope difference that the reagents are detecting. So this variation then in both the antigen strength and the epitopes are what cause a problem.
