"My intuition and instinct says that we're in a hype cycle certainly with LLMs chat gpt med journey these are all different implementations of llms so i don't think the AI is emergent yet but certainly there are very useful tools," he said. "We're going to look back on this hype cycle in two years as a burst bubble as these LLMs actually deliver much less very powerful interesting things will be delivered but nothing on the scale of science fiction because what science fiction has done very powerfully and almost invisiblybecause it works through the mythos."
