Prentice adults beautifully put next we most of the relationship skills you learned from your parents are not relationship skills at all. They're left over troma behaviors from several massed up enerations. It is manipulation, tactics of trying to work on other people and move them like objects by causing hurt or by offering pleasure to try to get them to act. Instead of com uniting straight to them and persuading them ethically and saying, here's what i really want from you. How can we make that happen together? That's how it works in real life. And a lot of those relationship skills we learned are defensive ones. People don't ask for things. Nobody has extra for you
