Limorance is also usually more secret, at least from potentially the other person involved. Like you may be secretly pining for them or the hints that you or they are giving are more subtle than in NRE. If you're feeling like there's, for some reason, I cannot directly communicate with this person or I can't directly ask them if they're into me, they're serious for that. Or too nervous or whatever,. There's more of that pressure to kind of keep it secret.
