The Speculation About Aunti Eleanor in the Chronicle by William of Tyre
It's been suggested that raymond may have been spending so much quality time with eleanor who personally commanded the loyalty of the southern french lords on crusade. The point is, it's entirely possible that that suggestive little line in the chronicle by william of tyre may have referred to a political scandal and not to infidelity. Now if you care about my personal opinion, i don't think she was unfaithful, precisely because incest is such a trope of all the obviously fabricated stories about the queen.
