How to Scale Up a Workload

When I look at trying to help a customer with scaling up a workload, there's two different things I'm worried about. One is can I get to run fast enough and then can I fully utilize warehouse? Because I also want to be economical with that. The smaller the query is, if it's scanning one micro-partition snowflake, it will not scale beyond one core. So doesn't matter if you throw a quadruple XL on that thing, we'll be the same speed as an extra small. And it literally orders a magnitude cheaper. It's worth thinking through that volume of like how much data is getting buried during the query itself.
