Every once in a great while, i will respond to a utub comment because on posting day, very often i'm going back to the page where the video is. People at youtube seem weirdly proud of it. The actual conversation takes place on readit, which has reasonable algorithms for sorting comments and allowing people to vote stuff up and down. It's not rocket science how to do a comment system that is reasonable. But for some reason, readit seems to be one of the very few places that actually does it.
