The Verticality of the Sky Islands
Breath of the Wild was Nintendo's first open world game ever. The entire world map is duplicated in another dark world that's under the earth. From the Sky Islands, you can literally aim for a hole in the ground different than the cave hole and fall all the way into the depths. It's like hard mode, a mere universe of the surface with every shrine has its own equivalent down there.
