How to Be a Good Teacher
I think that this is such an important point and a reminder. If you don't, if you've never learned a language, if you never dealt with the frustrations, it's going to be really hard for you to pull your students from where they're at. I teach academic writing as somebody who doesn't speak English as a first language. And now I feel, you know, all those experiences apart from my ability to teach in general and teach English are very helpful.
