Marianne finds her limit in this situation and for us who has spent the whole novel with Marianne it feels bad like I don't like being in that space with her. Then then to see it come into her relationship with Connell where she is like asking for things that he won't do was also you know I was not expecting the book to go there either which was about it kind of interesting.
