Is There a Role of Disorganized Attachment in Dissociative Identity Disorder?
Mary Maine was a genius when she developed the AI but mostly she normed it with University of California Berkeley graduate students. Probably the group other than myself that's used at the most in clinical populations is how it's steel and Merrim steel and Valerie Sinus and the Tavis stock. So for example, I have about 60 AI's that I collected on people with dissociative identity disorder and 95% of them have disorganized attachment. If you treat them not for trauma processing but for treating the disorganized attachment, they get better in about two years.
