"It's passion fatigue. I can't care any more about every terrible case that comes through the door, because as soon as one code is out of the hospital, another is going to take its place," she says. "I thought i was the same super hero that everybody else thought i was." But it took some time for her to understand 'i need certain things in order to maintain my humanity' And sadly, they are many people that are in this situation, and that's an emergency, not just for us as health workers, but for the world and world leaders.
