Would This Change Ethical Considerations Around Pinspermia?
If future generations conclude that a quote, rare, a biogenesis is the Fermi paradox solution. Would this change ethical considerations around Pinspermia? I think the answer would be that you would never want to touch a planet that you found life on that wasn't related to us. If we find plants almost everywhere with life on it, the one thing you'd be sure of is we do find life, you're probably going to have it worse people fighting over who's going to protect it as opposed to actually wanting to knock it out destroyed or replace it. It'd be worth a million times waiting gold, so to speak.
