Is Your Doubt Reasonable?

In two states reasonable doubt still isn't enough to keep a guy out of prison. In Louisiana and Oregon, rich white men who were in power 100 years ago got real nervous giving black people the power to keep their kin out of the clink. So if one or two jurors have a reasonable doubt and refuse to cast a vote for guilty, the defendant is still found guilty. Michael Shannon ended up in prison for a murder he did not commit.
