Apollo 9 EVA - Space Sick, Motion Sick?

The day before the EVA on Apollo 9, I had gotten sick, you know, space sick, motion sickness. We canceled the EVA and for all we knew that night when we went to bed, we would have to cancel the mission itself. And that was going to be potentially the end of the Kennedy commitment. So the next day, when it turned out that,. in fact, I was beyond the point of getting space sick and doing fine, and we went ahead with the EVA,  in less than 24 hours, I went from...I just thought that was so cool how our bodies and our brains treat us in extreme environments like that.
