The politics of emigration is something that's very much enmeshed in questions of social reproduction. On the one hand, there's the notion that latinos and latinas in particular, because of higher birth rates, pose a demographic threat. And then on the other hand, you also see this in immigration enforcement, with the recent policy of family separation. Could you talk a little bit about about native ism as a social reproduction nativeism, xenophobia, raceism as asocial reproduction crisis?
