A lot of times patients who come inin their own labor will do at least a portion of the latent phase at home, right? Or before they come to the hospital. Yes. No, we just are more patient with the latent phase because the entire thing happens in the hospital,. Whereas a lot of people think that if you go into labor on your own it moves very fast. We're quite lenient with time as long as the mothers find and the babies find that it may take awi o talking 12, 16 hours of it in the hospital. That's h e a l t h f u l o m a n dot com.
