The Pre-Political

Liberalism's supposed fetish for free will ends up effectively dehumanizing people, turning people into mere instruments for generating a consensus. I love this theme of the pre-political. Everybody wants everything to be pre- political. That matters to them. And in that world, we can't identify with anything that happens on any level,. individually or collectively. We're all rendered nothing but subjects.
