Ed and abe managed to get down six flights of stairs. Abe also called my wife, evelyn a few minutes later. He really felt that the situation was in control and that they were waiting for help. I just kept insisting that please, you'd have to leave. And that was the last i heard. When i found out abe had stayed with my uncle, it was a great comfort to know he wasn't alone.
