Is There a Benefit to a Small School?

I feel like a smaller setting with more individualized time from the teacher professor would be more likely to have success. I don't really like my experiences with private schools because I couldn't afford them and also like I'm not saying systemically wide. There is a benefit to having a good public school education, but then almost always comes from a large school. And there's money saving benefits for college. This is entirely a practical answer.
