I'd say networking is probably one of the biggest things. to initiate a pivot in your path um find out where those people are so if you're going from trad to indy join there's so many facebook groups as much as we hate facebook about being an indy author. I have four interviews including Sasha that talk about how authors can go from self publishing to traditional and vice versa.
