The Philippine Airlines Test Bomb
US prosecutors said the device was a Mark II PET and micro bomb, which was constructed using Casio digital watches. The test bomb on this Philippine Airlines plane used one tenth of the explosive power that was planned to be used on other planes. This plot, they wanted to use five different people, each with three bombs, and they were going to go out and place a total of 15 bombs on 15 different US-based airliners.
