The Importance of Free Will
If what we mean by the self is just our brain, then do we have free will or not? Do you actually believe in free will? Because the mechanistic view of the brain does seem to lead quite naturally to the conclusion that we're not as free as we think we are. Yeah. So I'm a compatibilist and some people think we're just cowards. But I do think that there's some notion that we still choose to do what we do.
