First job as a journalist was at the race relations reporter in nashville, and i was called the white writer. I think the first time i felt that i was really learning the craft is owus. This was in the age of new journalism, yuknow, tom wolfe and john sack younow there were some great writers that were expanding the canvas. And then i found out that there was a very appropriate calling for me.
