The Genetic Basis for Working Memory
A paper called the thalamic orphan receptor drives variability in short term memory was published in cell. The first author is Qwang Fu Xiao and the last author is Priyam Bada Rajasupati from Rockefeller University. They leverage two groups of outbred mice to try to understand what the genetic basis for working memory is.
