China's Military Activity Is Increasing in Taiwan and the US Is Going to Radically Change US Policy Towards Taipei

President Xi Jinping made a veiled reference to the sanctions and other pressure that China has faced from the West since the last National Congress, which was held five years ago. He reiterated what China's policy was, which is that they seek peaceful reunification as they call it, but they do not rule out the use of force. US lawmakers in the Senate are trying to push through a piece of legislation that would give Taiwan 6.5 billion in military aid.
