The Activation of the Heart Tree

Mary MassDoor uses a bronze dagger with glyphs on it when she's slinging the horse's neck to do the magic with Drogo and all that. So that's part of the ritual there, but it's not necessarily proof. Some people have suggested that the activation of the tree, that's what this is. This is the activation, the first sacrifice to awaken it. It might seem impossible for a heart tree to see its own awakening. How can you see something before your eyes are open? Right. I mean, they sacrifice to another one, you can increase the power. But this doesn't have to be logical though, it's magic we're talking about.
