This expansion alone would cost as much as the 20 17 tax cuts. The average American doesn't think it's fair that somebody who makes 203 hundred thousand dollars a year needs any help at all, they don't. Conservatives understand there should be some benefit and some compensation for the cost of raising kids. But again, when the bigger you make it, the more cliffs you have. And also just the bigger taxpayer cost, especially when you're subsidizing the middle class That's one point three trillion dollars that could be used for a lot of other purposes,. which is going to be going to upper middle class families that really don't need it.
