Gale is about a woman who works in an institution that doesn't often treat women or women of color particularly kindly. When i read gale, there was a lot of that that i identifid with certain, certain experiences where i've been the gale or the jasmine. And mike, having the opportunity to be able to perform a nuance performance,. which o really wanted from the film, was a little bit scaring, but also, you know, incredibly exciting"
