A poor servant girl was travelling through a forest with her master and mistress. When they were in middle of it, robbers came out of the thicket and murdered every one they found. Every one perished, except the girl who had hidden herself behind a tree. She began weep bitterly and said, what can a poor girl like me do now? No human being lives here, so i'll most certainly starve to death. After she sat there a while, a little white dove flew up to her with a little golden key in its beak.
