How I Learned Chess as a Kid

Axum has a full-time job, no pets and an understanding significant other. He started playing chess at the age of 11 when his dad bought him a wooden curved set from British chess federation shop. Axum says he didn't improve that much because all they did was play - not even rated events. "I think I got a rating of the 1400s or so around 20 years ago"
