If there's anything that the British love like walking, it's tea. The Lake District is a perfect opportunity to pair the two because it's this drizzly rainy spot a lot of times. You can walk somewhere for two hours and take a taxi back to your little town in the Cotswolds. It would be one of the highlights of your experience.
