The Importance of Having a Lie Detector
Lies are complicated and hard because a lie is a complex psychological phenomenon. Law enforcement agencies using brain-based interrogation techniques to try to figure out if some new recognizes a salient crime scene detail. It's harder to tell if they're telling the truth or lying but it's easier to probe their brain for information i see. The argument is that that's far more accurate than the kind of tells that you have whether it's heart rate or pupil error response, sweat or things like that.
