Monk house syndrome is a really mysterious disorder. It's where somebody who is not ill either fakes an illness or makes themselves intentionally ill in order to be able to go seek medical care. People imagine it's extremely rare but we have no idea how prevalent it is because one of the hallmark characteristics of monk housing, monk housing syndrome is that is dishonesty.
