Pete Sampriss has grown on me in this tournament. I find her hard to read during a match, she's not the same as everybody else. She didn't get ranking points at the olympics last year and would have entered top ten if they had been available. And i do think one of the great achievements in any player's career is getting over the line in their first grand slam final. When you've never done it before, you don't even know if you're capable until you've done it. The scale of that achievement can be huge. If there were ranking points at this tournament, she would now be comfortably inside the world's top tern em. Yet
