The top 1% are using double the emissions of the bottom 50%. How to change that is a Herculean task. To just draconianly even cut 10% would have massive systemic implications for the global economy. I think there are economic models that are less out of tune, as far as I'm aware. But they're still not anywhere near what's necessary.
