Family Is Important

In ancient Near Eastern culture, family would have been way higher on their priority list than it is in our very individualistic culture. So whoever is in your immediate vicinity, live at peace with them, love them, take care of them, bless them, honor your responsibilities. That's why people, men have to be good at managing their households if they're going to be shepherds in the church. Is how you lead and how you shepherd and how you manage your own family are the proving ground for the church.
