The Impact of the Covid Pandemic

Alice Wiseman is the Director of Public Health in Gateshead, England. She says she was blown away by the community response to lockdown restrictions. The impact of Covid pandemic on our communities was really significant as we expected it to be. We're particularly concerned about young people who didn't have the opportunity to socialise during those sort of important first few months. It does feel like a kind of perfect storm - one thing after another for people and one sort of trauma really after another.
