You really need to make your body think that you're diving under the water rather than just sitting up straight. If you're confused about what this will look like, I think there's a lot of videos on YouTube that will show you what it looks like. And in addition to feeling calmer because my heart rate has slowed, I also am laughing a lot. So that's helping. Honestly, sometimes I wonder if this skill actually works and does it really only work because it's so hilarious to duck your entire face in a bowl of water? Like I can't do it. But both things are true at the same time.
