Slash, I'm a Teenager and I Feel Like I Don't Fit in With My Classmates

Slash: I always felt like a lot of the parents of kids I went to school with were really judgmental. My best friend in high school, we were attached at the hip and her mom would constantly tell her to not hang out with me. She was maybe crazier than I was, but it always gets pinned on the one. So she had a really strict family whereas I didn't as much. And also my dad is like a big partier and goes out a lot. It's amazing you took that route that you grew up in or it sounds like where it's like, yeah, this is totally normal.
