I was a little bit surprised by the the order of presentation not that that's like the most important but when I think about how would I you know I've come up with this technique like how would I demonstrate that it actually works to me. The obvious thing is like show that it can continue to do the original thing you know as well or not so much worse or maybe even in certain circumstances better than the fully dense graph. That part makes a total intuitive sense to me and we were excited about reproducing previous work though it is certainly flawed and we can get into that if you wish.

Arthur Conmy sits down with Nathan Labenz for an accessible deep dive into the state of interpretability research online today.
