The NHS's Future Doctors: How Staff Shortages Influence the NHS

Under the new plan you could carry on applying in the normal way to do 5 years training at medical school with some clinical practice. Also Hugh, one of the interesting things about this workforce plan is that future James's training as doctors could come through in apprenticeship route rather than the classic medical school route. And I think that scene is a really important way of boosting access. So people aren't put off by university fees. Having read this big document or skimmed it and not understood all of it, the sense I get from it is they really just have kind of like shaken the tree to find everything they can do to get more people working in the NHS. Exactly.
