I look at the Fed as being not a director of the economy, but someone who leans against the economy when it's going too far in one direction or the other. And I think the fiscal side plays a much, much bigger role now than 15 years ago. So all those things are possibilities, and I could see them going in the way they go. It just seems like this is a really big question for investors long term: Do you want to be exposed to an inflationary trend or a deflationary trend?
