What China Offers?
The agreement with solomon's is a very vague agreement, and it would seem to offer lots of loopholes that could be exploited. In particular, what stood out is a reference in the agreement to china being able to make ship visits for stop over and transit. There's some fear that that could foreshadow basing arrangements. Another very unusual clause in the agreement refers to the ability of china to bring in its security forces to protect the safety of chinese personnel and projects. So ether defiritely, are sort of some warning red flags.
