Why Animals Shouldn't Be Loved
I understand why people like dogs instead of, you see lots of people wandering around with dogs. But the danger for me is where do they sit within the family unit because they are not equal to a child. And sometimes you look around and think, gosh, they're kind of treated asequal to a child in bizarre ways. I don't want to say surrogate children, this sort of thing that might be too strong a word, but I think sometimes that we need love from our pets.
