The Seven Characteristics of a Mature Thinker
A mature thinker has a humility of their own inadequacies, and thinks of themselves with sober judgment. The intellectual humility to know that just because you say earned a phd in ten years ago does not mean you're the smartest person in the room. And if we model these seven characteristics of a mature thinker, then i think that our interlocutor is going to be more willing, or more open, or more apt to also practise these behaviors.
