How to Create Patterns in the Visual Brain

I wanted to study consciousness. And I would really understand what happens in the brain when we become consciously aware of something. In my lab, studied cognition and the role of attention and how it's modulating the activity in the visual brain. We started to implant increasingly numbers of electrodes. So if you have 100 or 1000 electrodes, you can create 1000 of these dots of lights we call phosphines.
