COVID and the Future of the Economy
The Dutch government have just agreed to put four billion euros into supporting KLM. We know there's huge over capacity in the European airline industry at the moment and that doesn't necessarily look like a great investment anyway. No doubt there are opportunities to make decisions which would be very tough under normal circumstances but actually look much easier when the fiscal position is going to be very tight. Thinking about then the kind of medium longer term economic policies and thinking perhaps about the term green recovery.
