The Difference Between Popular Story and Horror Story

Popular literature is invested in having order restored to the world. In horror particularly, that is not always the case and has a very dark dimension. Horace stories are such that it makes you want to go and experience again at a different level of identification than serious literature. It really goes back to our anglo american heritage of the reformation, so that anything supernatural became the purview of the devil. So we've had devil inflected horse to ever since until now when these young people who are so hungry for the supernatural have started turning their monsters into heroes.
