The Importance of Justice
Bodie is more moved to find out what really happened than exonerate Omar. She thinks it's correctly solved pretty quickly, she realizes that it probably wasn't. By the last quarter of the book, when things have really progressed and they're going through a hearing for a retrial, it has become very much about Omar. So it is an awakening for this character in many ways.
